The OG is the first of its kind. The brainchild of Lane Tanner, who always wanted to make a ‘Frankenwine,’ and Will Henry, who wanted to explore his orange roots. Lane’s version was made with adding fresh organic ginger to a fermenting barrel of Grenache Blanc; Will’s version was a full skin contact Pinot Gris. The two wines, both made ‘sans soufre’ or without added sulfites, were then blended before bottling. The result is a wine the likes of which you have never tasted. Ginger is a natural antioxidant, and we think it will preserve the wine much in the way sulfites do. Needless to say, it is the only additive in this wine other than yeast and grapes – and a whole lotta love.
